Business Policy for The Chica Club Effective Date: July 11, 2023 As a freelance hairstylist and makeup artist, I am committed to providing exceptional services to my clients while maintaining professionalism and adhering to ethical standards. This business policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for both clients and myself. Services Offered I offer a range of hairstyling and makeup services, including but not limited to: •Haircuts and styling •Hair coloring and treatments •Bridal and special occasion makeup •Editorial and commercial makeup •Consultations and trials Appointments and Scheduling 1.1.Booking: Appointments can be made via phone, email, or through direct message on Instagram or Facebook. A consultation may be required for certain services. 1.2.Clients are required to make direct bookings with me and are discouraged from arranging appointments through third-party intermediaries. This ensures smooth communication and help to prevent any miscommunication that may arise when involving additional parties. 1.3.Cancellations: Clients are requested to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee. 1.4.Late Arrivals: Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please inform me as soon as possible. Depending on the circumstances, your service may need to be modified or rescheduled. Pricing and Payment 2.1.Service prices are determined based on various factors, including complexity, time required, and location. A detailed price list will be provided upon request. 2.2.For certain services or larger bookings, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure the appointment. 2.3.Payment can be made in cash or electronic bank transfers. Electronic bank transfers include additional tax. Payment is due upon completion of the service. Client Responsibilities Communication: 3.1.Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their desired look, any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect the service. Hygiene: 3.2.Clients should ensure cleanliness and hygiene before appointments, including clean hair and a makeup-free face unless otherwise specified. 3.3.Clients are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during appointments, following any instructions or guidance provided. Artist Responsibilities Professionalism: 4.1. I will conduct myself in a professional and respectful manner at all times, providing a safe and comfortable environment for clients. Skill and Expertise: 4.2. I will utilize my knowledge, skills, and experience to deliver high-quality hairstyling and makeup services, staying updated with industry trends and techniques. Hygiene and Safety: 4.3. I adhere to strict hygiene practices, use sanitized tools and products, and prioritize client safety throughout the service. Confidentiality and Media Release Confidentiality: 5.1. Client information, including personal details, images, and conversations, will be treated with strict confidentiality unless written consent is obtained. Media Release: 5.2. Clients may be asked for permission to use their before/after photos or testimonials for marketing and promotional purposes. Any such requests will be discussed and agreed upon in advance. Liability and Insurance: 5.3. While I take every precaution to provide safe and reliable services, I am not liable for any adverse reactions, injuries, or damages resulting from the use of products or services. Clients are encouraged to inform me of any known allergies or sensitivities. Amendments to the Policy 5.4. This business policy may be amended or updated at any time. Consent Form ​ the Hairstylist and client agree to the following terms: Please initial each section. ​ Criteria for photos: The hair in the photo is the same or similar length as mine. The model in the photo has a similar skin tone, hair texture and eye color to mine. No excessive filters. Be mindful of wigs. At least one photo is styled straight. I have shared 3 photos with my stylist to develop a range for the overall look desired to be achieved. I acknowledge that my specific desired results may not be possible to achieve during this visit. I am aware that the hair color may look different straight versus curly. I have truthfully informed my stylist of my complete hair history for the past 4 years, including any and all chemical services, at home, box color, Brazilian blowout, chemical blow out, perm, temporary dyes etc. I acknowledge that my hair history can greatly impact the results of this service. I acknowledge that my clothing may be affected during this service, ie stains or marks. I acknowledge that proper aftercare is essential to preserve the quality of the hair service I receive and that using professional products recommended by my stylist will help me to best maintain my hair. My stylist has communicated the pricing of this service and I agree to pay it in full regardless of results. I acknowledge that this service and deposit paid are completely non-refundable.
